The crossover between Resident Evil 2 and PUBG Mobile is underway. In the new Zombie: Survive Till Dawn mode, players must watch out for not only enemy players, but also zombies, which become more aggressive during the nighttime portion of the day and night cycle.

The mode was already in December announced by Resident Evil 2 publisher Capcom and kicks off on Tuesday. Sixty players participate in the mode, in which a game lasts thirty minutes. Three days and two nights pass in those thirty minutes. At night, it is expected that there will be less player-to-player battles and more between players and the more aggressive zombies. The mode takes place on Erangel, the game’s first playing field.

The zombies from Resident Evil 2 are Police, Licker, G1, and Tyrant. In addition, more zombies designed by the game studio of Tencent that is behind PUBG Mobile appear. In addition to zombies, skins and costumes will be added to the game. Players can get their hands on Leon and Claire’s skins, as well as Ada and Marvin’s costumes.

The mode is playable for a limited time, but there is no mention of how long. The update is available on both the iOS and Android versions of PUBG Mobile. Furthermore, the update, with version number 0.11.0, also introduces the Northern Lights on the Vikendi map.
