The Chinese manufacturer Zuk, which receives financing from Lenovo, has presented its second smartphone. The Zuk Z2 Pro has a 5.2″ screen, smaller than the 5.5″ display of the Z1. The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.

There will be variants with 4GB and 6GB of memory, writes Zuk on the Chinese social network Weibo. The 4GB version has 64GB UFS storage, the 6GB version has 128GB. In both cases, the device runs on a quad-core Snapdragon 820-soc with Adreno 530-gpu.

The screen is an OLED with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, with curved glass over it, as can be seen on so many devices. The fingerprint scanner is located below the screen. There is also a heart rate monitor on the back. The device could also measure oxygen in the blood and has a UV sensor on board.

Due to the minimal bezels, the device measures 14.5x7cm. The phone is 7.5mm thick and weighs 145g. A 3100mAh battery can be found in the housing. The smartphone runs Android with Zui 2.0 from Zuk on top of it, with the option of synchronizing with Apple iCloud.

The Z2 Pro has a 13-megapixel Samsung isocell-type camera with 1.34 micron pixels and phase-detection autofocus. The front camera has 1.4 micron pixels and a maximum resolution of eight megapixels.

The phone is currently only available in China. When released this month, the most expensive version will have a price of 2699 yuan, currently converted around 366 euros. The cheaper variant will be released next month for an unknown price.
