There are three different steps to make a Vimeo to YouTube transfer. To do that, you need to start with Vimeo, then add it to Google Drive, Google Photos, and finally, bring it to YouTube. Add quickly before continuing Save to Google Drive extension to your web browser. Save web content or screen capture directly to Google Drive. The Save to Google Drive Chrome extension helps you save web content or browser screenshots to your Google Drive. This extension allows you to save web content directly to Google Drive through a browser action or context menu. You can save documents, images, and HTML5 audio and video all by right clicking and selecting ‘Save to Google Drive’. You can save the currently viewed page using the ‘Save to Google Drive’ browser action. The directory location and format of saved HTML pages can be controlled with the extension’s options page (Choice of Entire image (default), Visible image, Raw HTML, MHTML, or Google Doc). You can automatically convert Microsoft Office files or comma-separated files to Google Docs format.

After your content is saved, the progress dialog allows you to open the file, rename, or view the file in the Google Drive document list. From the document list, you can organize and share your new document. To save a file:// URLs, or to enable in incognito mode, go to chrome://extensions/ and enable the associated checkbox. Due to security restrictions, this extension cannot capture chrome:// pages or Chrome Web Store pages. On Vimeo

Open your account dashboard on Vimeo and go to the videos. Select the video you want to transfer to YouTube. When the video preview page opens, click Send file button from above. When you do that, it will take a while for your request to be processed and you will be directed to a new page.

The new page shows a preview of the video along with a To download on the top. This button opens options for the video quality on the Vimeo. Now right click on the video quality option you want to transfer and click “Save link to Google Drive“۔ This will open the Google login screen, log in with the account associated with YouTube and save the link.

On Google Photos

Now open Google Photos in a new browser tab and use the same Google account. Then select the upload option on Google Photos and select “Upload from Drive& # 39 ;. This opens an overlay to choose the file. Vimeo’s video appears on the recent tab. Select the video and add it to your Google Photos.

YouTube (Legacy Uploader)

Open YouTube in another browser window and log into your account. Go to YouTube Studio and select upload. On the Upload videos overlay, there is an option that says: UPLOAD WITH CLASSIC”۔  Click that option and continue with on-screen instructions to enable the Legacy Uploader.

Now the Legacy Uploader has a special option to import videos from Google Photos. Just click on that option and select the video file from your Google Photos library. The video is added to YouTube Studio, where you can add the video information and then make it public or save it as private.
