WhatsApp is currently working on a business plan called WhatsApp Premium. That is what WABetaInfo claims. With that subscription, companies can, among other things, register a URL that points to their WhatsApp accounts.

The subscription name WhatsApp Premium will be confirmed in the most recent beta version of the service, writes WABetaInfo. Companies with a Premium subscription can capture a URL, such as That link then points to that company’s WhatsApp account. Meta already allows companies to create a URL to their WhatsApp account, but these are generated randomly and cannot be modified.

There have been reports for some time about a WhatsApp subscription for businesses, but the name was not yet known. It also turned out that companies with a Premium subscription can link ten additional devices to their accounts via the multi-device function. By default, an account with that feature can be used on a maximum of five devices.

WABetaInfo extracts information from test versions of WhatsApp and has repeatedly informed about new features and options in WhatsApp in recent years. WhatsApp has not yet responded to the information about the business subscription. It is not yet known when WhatsApp Premium will be released or what this subscription will cost.
