Software Update: DiskCatalogMaker 8.2.5

DiskCatalogMaker is a program for macOS that can create a catalog file for all your disks. This catalog can then be searched at lightning speed, without having to reconnect the disks, put them in a player or connect them via a network. Searching an archive with hundreds of USB sticks, CDs, DVDs and BDs with millions of entries is done in a fraction of a second. It works with all kinds of drives, from floppy disks to USB sticks, multiple volumes on one drive, and network volumes. A license costs just under $40 and the program can be tried 30 days before purchase.

Changes in version 8.2.5:

• Fixed an issue that prevented the filename extension ‘.csv’ from being appended to the name in the save window in macOS 10.15 Catalina. (macOS no longer allows apps to customize the name chosen by the user.)
