The folks at Avant Browser have version 9.01 beta 1 released† This stand-alone program uses Internet Explorer’s engine to enable surfing the net. In addition, Avant Browser has some useful features such as a pop-up blocker and tabbed browsing. The appearance can also be adjusted by means of skins† The following changes were made in the first beta of 9.01:

Add an option to open new tab next to the current tab
