Claude Reflect shows you better exactly how to apply AI in your life
Overview of your AI usage
The beta version of Reflect can be found in Claude’s web and desktop app in the settings. This is a unique dashboard that gives you more insight into your Claude usage. At the top you will see a summary of how you use Claude and what topics you cover. Certain patterns surrounding your use are also highlighted. It shows when you use Claude most often and which tasks are performed most often at those times. You can look back a month, three months, six months and even a year. What is not yet shown in Reflect is exactly how much time you spend with Claude. However, Anthropic promises that option will be added soon.
Reflect on your AI work
Besides simply being a handy overview of what you do with the AI model, Invite also invites you to reflect on your use and the role Claude plays in your life. For example, Invite may sometimes ask you which tasks you would most like to perform yourself, “even if Claude can do it faster.” You can then talk to Claude about the best approach. It is even possible to indicate at which times of the day you want to take some distance from the AI model, so that you can get some rest after a certain intensive session with Claude. It is also possible to learn from it, so that you can use Claude even more specifically. This way you can indicate what your overarching goals are and take more responsibility for how you use AI.
Available now
The Claude Reflect beta is now available for Claude Free, Pro, and Max users. One condition is that you have enabled the option that Claude remembers your conversations. That makes sense: otherwise it cannot look back on your use. It is yet another step in the AI world in which the models are becoming increasingly smarter and offer even more possibilities. Reflect is an example of an AI model – in this case Claude – that allows users to interact with it more and more consciously, so that your work in the model also becomes increasingly accurate.
