Rockstar Games has released Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories on Google Play. The updated version of the Playstation Portable game has largely remained the same, but has changed somewhat, both graphically and technically.

In that regard, the remaster is the same as the iOS version released in December. For the mobile version, for example, the graphics have been polished with higher resolutions for the characters, among other things. Furthermore, there is dynamic lighting and shadow and the draw distance has been improved. For the iOS devices, Rockstar announced which can play the game at 60fps. For Android, Rockstar does not let you know.

Furthermore, the game has support for a controller and the missions have been adjusted to better fit the gaming experience on mobile devices. GTA: Liberty City Stories can be played across multiple devices through the Rockstar Games Social Club.

To know for sure whether the game is playable on a smartphone or tablet, users must log in to Google Play. The game page lists Android 4.0 or higher as a requirement, but not all devices that have it can run the game. For iOS and Android, the game temporarily costs 3.99 euros. Rockstar is still working on versions for Windows Phone and Amazon Kindle.
