Bethesda Game Studios has announced that the survival mode of Fallout 4, the highest difficulty, will be completely overhauled. Players will have to take food, drink, illness and other hazards into account.

Many fanatical Fallout players criticized the survival mode in Fallout 4. The highest difficulty level makes the game more difficult because enemies die less easily, for example, but adds few extra elements. That was the case in previous Fallout games and with an update Bethesda wants to bring that experience back to Fallout 4. Precise details are still missing, but in a tweet let the studio know that the survival mode is getting a complete overhaul.

Also late Bethesda know that more information will be announced soon about the dlc for Fallout 4. That there will be extra content in the form of paid dlc packs is certain, after all, a Season Pass was also offered at the introduction of the game, but so far DLC contents unknown.

Earlier this week, Bethesda released update 1.3 for Fallout 4. The console versions in particular benefited from this. The object fading distance has been increased on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, so that objects disappear from view less quickly.
