Renders of the Samsung Galaxy S11+ have been made. The device would have a 6.9 “screen and be equipped with five cameras on the back. The regular S11 also gets five cameras, but with the S11 + the camera island is even larger.

The design of the Galaxy S11+ is similar to that of the regular Galaxy S11 and S11e. Renders of those devices have already appeared online. In all cases, those renders are from @OnLeaks, which creates them from cad files. The Galaxy S11+ renders are published by CashKaro.

The screen edges of the Galaxy S11+ would be less curved than with the predecessor. At the front is a small hole in the OLED screen for the front camera. At the back, the large camera island stands out, with two cameras above and below and one in the middle. A flash is also visible, although its location is not yet certain. There are also two small sensors on the island, it is not yet clear what they are for.

Supposedly, the Galaxy S11+ will have a primary camera with a 108-megapixel sensor, a zoom camera with ‘5x optical zoom’ and an ultra wide-angle camera. It is not yet known what the other cameras are for. Possibly it concerns functionality such as a time-of-flight sensor.

The housing has dimensions of 166.9x76x8.8mm. At the thickest point at the camera island, the thickness is 10.2 mm. The Galaxy S11+ is therefore much larger than the S10+, which is 157.6mm long and 74.1mm wide. The device is also longer than the Galaxy S10 5G, a variant with a 6.7 “screen and dimensions of 162.6 x 77.1 mm.

Last week, renders of the regular Galaxy S11 and the smaller Galaxy S11e version appeared. Samsung will probably announce the devices early next year. Smartphone enthusiast Evan Blass previously said that the devices will appear in mid or late February.
