A team of mod makers is working on a Red Dead Redemption 2 mod in which players can experience the game as an officer of the law. This not only offers new gameplay options but also a completely new experience. It is not yet known when the mod will be released.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, gamers usually play like Arthur, a purebred outlaw in the Wild West. A team of mod makers turns this around completely: is a mod for the PC version of the game, where players can experience the game as a sheriff.
RDRFR is not the first rodeo for this mod makers: the team has worked on. The makers expect an experience that is somewhat comparable to the GTA police mod but with a greater focus on interaction with the environment and residents of the Wild West. Conducting research must also be given more attention; after all, due to a lack of security cameras, solving crimes in the nineteenth century was considerably more difficult than today.
It is not yet known when the mod will be released, but the makers indicate that they want to make the beta version available as quickly as possible. “Instead of working on this mod for months, we want to get the ball rolling in a few weeks.” The development team hopes that the mod will gradually unfold in this way. The team hopes to receive more targeted feedback and can adjust the mod based on the playing style of the first users.
