Finnish smartphone maker HMD Global has shown the Nokia G50 5G smartphone in a short video. That should be the manufacturer’s cheapest 5G phone to date. The phone’s specs have already been published earlier.

Nokia Mobile’s Instagram account in France put the video online and removed it shortly after, Nokia Poweruser reports. The video shows the phone with the screen having a waterdrop shaped notch, while on the back are three cameras in a circular design element. Many more Nokia phones have integrated the cameras in this way.

Earlier rumors suggested that the screen is a 6.38″ LCD with 1560×720 pixels, while the soc is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480. That is the processor designer’s cheapest soc with 5G support in the integrated modem.

The fact that the post was online briefly indicates that the announcement of the phone will not be long in coming. Listings have already appeared at retailers that indicate that the phone will cost around 250 euros upon release.
