Firmware update: Shuttle ST20G5 S017

Shuttle has released a new BIOS for its ST20G5 barebones. The barebone is based around the ATi Radeon Xpress 200 as the north bridge and the ULi 1573 as the south bridge and accommodates an AMD Athlon 64 / FX processor on a Socket 939. The version number has risen to S017 and has received the following changes:

Version S017:

• Update CPU microcode.

Version S016:

• Update Cool’N’Quiet PST table.
• Update PXE ROM for Broadcom 5789 Lan chip support.

Version S015:

• Updated VGA BIOS to VER008.035I.000.
• Fixed “LDT configuration” could not enable.
• Updated ULi SATA RAID BIOS to V1.13

Version S013:

• Show DRAM CL & timing on POST screen.
• Fixed IDE 80 cable error on POST screen.
• Fixed HD would not run at UDMA mode under Win2K.
• Update Cool’N’Quiet PST table.
• Adjused “1T/2T memory Timing” default value to “2T”.
