Transmeta has the second quarter of this year locked with earnings of $6.83 million. Compared to a loss of 26.8 million over the same period in 2004, this can be called remarkable. Revenues also increased sharply in the second quarter: $ 24.7 million compared to $ 6 million last year. Earlier this year, the company carried out a large-scale reorganization and decided, among other things, to stop producing chips. Income from now on had to be obtained from the intellectual property of the company: Transmeta concluded licensing agreements with, among others, NEC Electronics and Fujitsu Limited. The new course has proven to be beneficial for the company.
