The Spyro the Dragon Reignited Trilogy will be released on September 21. It is a collection of remasters of the three Spyro games. An image of the game’s box has appeared on Amazon Mexico, along with the release date.

The image has since been removed from Amazon, but the listing with description and date of September 21 is still online. The box art can still be found on forums like Resetera. The description at Amazon Mexico states that Spyro the Dragon Reignited Trilogy contains all three Spyro games and that they have undergone an HD remaster.

Activision will release the bundle and Toys for Bob will be responsible for making the remaster. That developer is now also working on the Nintendo Switch port of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which will be released on July 10.

When the remasters of Spryo the Dragon appear on September 21, it will be twenty years after the release of the first part. An earlier rumor already mentioned a release in the third quarter of this year.

Initially, the Spyro remasters seem to only be coming to the PlayStation 4, just like the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. It may also be a timed exclusive and the Spyro games will come to other platforms a year later.

Update, Friday: The Spyro Reignited Trilogy has been officially announced. The message has been adjusted accordingly.
