Space survival game Adr1ft is no longer coming to Xbox One. That was originally the intention, albeit a longer time after the release for Windows and the PlayStation 4. The developer speaks of the cancellation in a tweet.

On Sunday, a Twitter user reported that he had pre-ordered the game, prompting Adr1ft lead developer Adam Orth to tell him reports that he better get his money back since the game is no longer coming out for the Xbox One. Orth does not provide a further explanation of why that decision was made.

Adr1ft was unveiled in 2015 at the E3 games show in Los Angeles. In the game, players take on the role of an astronaut who regains consciousness in the midst of a destroyed space station orbiting the Earth. With no memory of how the main character got there, players must make their way through the wreckage and obtain enough oxygen to have the time to repair a pod that can bring the player home safely. The game was released this year for the PlayStation 4 and Windows and also supports the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift, but not the PlayStation VR.
