Sony and Amazon have reportedly decided to refund No Man’s Sky players if they are dissatisfied with the game. No Man’s Sky was released earlier this month, but players complained about poor performance and lack of previously touted gameplay.

The sellers also seem to give customers their money back if they no longer meet the conditions. Users of the NeoGaf forum reported their successes on the return. The fact that Sony and Amazon are giving buyers of No Man’s Sky their money back probably has to do with the large number of complaints that have arisen about the game in recent times. One of the biggest complaints was that the gameplay is not as previously advertised in trailers. Players also complain about poor game performance and bugs.

No Man’s Sky came out earlier this month and has been eagerly anticipated by many gamers. The release has been postponed several times, because according to maker Hello Games, it was not yet completely finished.

Update, Monday: Steam is in any case not lenient in the case of No Man’s Sky. Valve reports that “the standard Steam refund policy applies to No Man’s Sky. There are no special exemptions available.” Therefore, all mentions to Steam have been removed from the article.
