TotalIdea Software released an update of Tweak-7 on Monday. This tweaking program is the Windows 7 counterpart of Tweak-XP Pro and TweakVI, which are intended for Windows XP and Vista respectively. Tweak-7 works from the official release candidate (build 7100) of Windows 7 and can handle both 32bit and 64bit versions of the operating system. The download is just over 20MB in size and a license for the program costs thirty euros. Below is what has changed since the final release:

Changes in version 1.0 build 1003:

  • Fixing some very rare issues in the time sync feature
  • Fixing several other minor issues in a few feature sections
  • German language file added
  • Added an icon file type association repair feature to the ‘Explorer tweaks’ feature
  • Updated English and Russian language files
  • Successfully tested in detail on the final Windows 7 RTM build

Changes in version 1.0 build 1002:

  • Fixing a few minor issues
  • Updated Russian language file

Changes in version 1.0 build 1001:

  • Fixing a few very rare issues in the ‘Registry CleanUp’ and the ‘System CleanUp’ feature that crashed Tweak-7 if some important system registry keys and system folders were not existing
  • A few changes to the demo edition of Tweak-7 (all those changes do not apply to the registered edition)
  • Some minor changes to the setup
