Version 15.17 of TeamViewer has been released. This program allows remote management of other computers via a secure VPN connection. That connection runs through TeamViewer’s servers, so no settings on the router need to be adjusted to make it all work. TeamViewer is free for non-commercial use and is being developed for Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS and Android. The changelog for this release looks like this:
- New two-factor authentication for connections. Connections can now be allowed or denied using push notifications. Try it now in the options under the Security tab and share your feedback.
- [64bit version] Fixed a bug in Remote Control sessions to Windows 7 which prevented the mouse cursor from changing its shape when expected (eg to text cursor).
