On Thursday, version 0.4.11 of SABnzbd was released, as a successor to 0.4.9. With this program binary and text files from usenet can be downloaded. SABnzbd is released as an open source application and is available for Windows, Linux and Max OS X. The program offers the possibility to load nzb files, after which the correct files are retrieved from usenet. By means of the built-in web interface it is possible to control the program via a web browser. Below are the release notes for version 0.4.11:
SABnzbd 0.4.11 has been released
SABnzbd 0.4.11 is essentially the same as 0.4.9, but with less problems. We skipped 0.4.10, because it failed the tests done by our release team.
- Fixed all the places in the UI that needed a session key
- Dropped multi-core PAR2 for OSX (too much problems)
- Added an option to enable/disable multi-core PAR2 for Windows
- Added an option to disable the new security feature (not recommended!)
This should be the final 0.4.x release. We will now concentrate on getting the 0.5.0 release out.
