Software update: Opera Mini final

The folks at Opera released the first final version of Opera Mini today. Opera Mini is a web browser written in Java for mobile phones and allows users to surf the Internet through the program. Unlike Opera Mobile, where the program downloads the entire page and then renders the page in a format suitable for the phone, the requested pages are first modified by Opera’s servers so that they can be displayed by Mini. This final version of Opera Mini is available for a large number of mobile phones. Through the download page you can select the right phone and then choose the desired language. Unpacked, the software takes up about 205 kilobytes on the mobile phone.
