Software Update: Mozilla Camino 0.8.4
The Mozilla Organization has updated its browser for the Mac OS X platform, Mozilla Camino. The version number increased to 0.8.4 and can be downloaded in a english– and International-version. This web browser uses Cocoa for the user interface and the Gecko engine to render web pages. In addition, the program has tabbed browsing, a popup blocker and a Google search field. This version contains some important security and bug fixes and the developers strongly recommend that you upgrade. The full changelog looks like this:
In the 0.8.4 release, we have fixed the following:
- Fixed a critical issue with Mac OS X 10.4 and opening a new tab when viewing a page with a plug-in.
- Long tooltips in web pages now wrap to multiple lines in order to be more readable.
- Fixed several critical security issues. All users are recommended to upgrade.
- Fixed a top crash when dragging the scroll bar while loading pages
- Fixed an issue where some localized versions could not set the monospace font
