A new version of iBackup has been released on the Mac OS X platform with a version number of 4.0.9. With this program you can make a backup of files, folders and applications and also restore them. In addition, it is possible to make a backup of your system preferences, such as time, dock, firewall, iChat and iTunes settings. The list of changes since the previous entry in the muck tracker looks like this:

Version 4.0.9:

  • bug fixed: backup folder name is shown in preferences now
  • bug fixed: to reset the scripts deselect the “Run scripts” in “Preferences”
  • improvement: iBackup checks better then before if all items are copied.
  • improvement: iBackup runs start scripts now before and end script after it checks if the destination is mounted
  • improvement: iClock added to Application Preferences

Version 4.0.8:

  • bug fixed: iCal backup for 10.4
  • improvement: spanish translation
  • improvement: allows to save a copy of the log file anywhere

  • bug fixed: scheduler

  • bug fixed: checks for changed items recursively
