Software Update: Gnome 2.27.5

The developers behind GNOME have released a new development version of this desktop environment with version number 2.27.5. Gnome is a comprehensive, easy-to-use open source desktop environment for operating systems belonging to the Unix family, such as GNU/Linux and BSD. The name is short for GNU Network Object Model Environment. Gnome consists of a desktop environment plus a development platform that allows the creation of other applications that can be integrated into the desktop environment. It is similar to KDE in that regard. In version 2.27 include improvements to the Hamster time-tracking applet.

test it. And go hack on it, document it, translate it, fix it.

To compile GNOME 2.27.5, you can the jhbuild [1] module sets [2] (which
use the exact tarball versions from the official release):
