JGsoft has released version 8.4.1 of the free text editor EditPad Lite. This program is not intended for programmers, they should use EditPad Pro, RJ TextEd or Notepad++. This is more of a replacement for the Notepad that comes with Windows. Unlike Notepad, EditPad Lite can open an unlimited number of files in the same window, has no limit on the size of files that can be opened, and the number of undos and redos is unlimited. EditPad Lite is free for private use, but businesses can purchase a license if there’s no need at all extras that the Pro version offers. The following issue has been fixed in this release:
- Switching between a left-to-right and right-to-left text layout did not immediately move the vertical scroll bar to the other side of the editor; it would move after switching to another file and back.
