Software Update: Cryptainer LE 4.0.1.0

Cryptainer is a program that meets the increasing demand for privacy. This program can be used to create encrypted and password-protected virtual drives, so-called vaults. The Blowfish 448-bit and AES 256-bit encryption ensures that the files on it can only be accessed by those who know the password. With the free variant, called Cryptainer LE, volumes up to 20MB can be created, but Cypherix sells three other variants that can raise that limit to 20GB. Cryptainer can also be installed as a standalone on a USB memory stick, so that it can be used on another machine without having to install the program:

Cryptainer can be installed directly on a USB / removable drive as a “stand alone” install. One can carry this installation of Cryptainer (‘Cryptainer Mobile’) to different machines without having to install Cryptainer on the host machine. Please note that the “stand alone” install is dependent on the parent OS.
