Software Update: Apple iTunes 12.2.1

Apple has released an update to version 12.2 of iTunes. With this program it is possible to listen to music or watch movies and TV series. These can be purchased through the Apple iTunes internet music store. The program can also burn CDs and can be used to manage an iPod, iPhone or iPad. Apple’s iTunes is available for Windows 7 and later Windows versions, and of course for OS X. In version 12.2, support for the new paid music service Apple Music has been added and there is again a new icon. Some minor issues have been fixed in these updates.

This update addresses the following problems:

• Fixes an issue for iTunes Match users where iTunes incorrectly changed some songs from Matched to Apple Music.
• Provides a way to correct a library problem affecting former iTunes Match subscribers.
• Includes minor bug fixes and improvements for Beats 1.
