The first release candidate of version 3.60 of the media player AIMP has appeared. This free Russian-made lightweight media player has support for the most popular music formats. The appearance resembles the well-known Winamp and can be adjusted by means of skins. AIMP has an 18-channel equalizer on board and supports plugins. Furthermore, the program can rip CDs, convert music files and edit tags. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Fixed:

• Sound Engine – ASIO – changing the bit-depth during playback leads to noise
• Sound Engine – incorrect channels remapping for mono files
• Sound Engine – navigation issues by files which size is more that 4 GBytes
• Common – files that full path equals to 260 symbols cannot be played
• Common – an error occurs when trying to add an empty file to the playlist
