Software update: Adobe Acrobat/Reader 9.1.2

Adobe has released new updates for its Adobe Reader and Acrobat Standard, Professional, and Pro Extended products. For a brief overview of the differences between Acrobat and Reader, we refer you to this page. This update fixes the version number to 9.1.2 for the various releases. A number of workflow issues have been resolved and potential security vulnerabilities have been patched. The abbreviated announcement looks like this:

Adobe Acrobat and Reader 9.1.2 software address a number of customer workflow issues and security vulnerabilities (please see: http://www.adobe.com/go/apsb09-07/) while providing more stability. Adobe always recommends that you install the latest updates.

The Windows update includes the changes made in Adobe Acrobat and Reader 9.1.1 update. Thus if you have Acrobat 9.1 or Reader 9.1 on Windows installed, you can directly update to 9.1.2 without installing 9.1.1 first.
