In June, AMD and Samsung announced that they would work together on efficient GPUs for smartphones. Part of that collaboration is that Samsung is purchasing a license to use AMD’s RDNA architecture for GPUs. AMD presented that architecture this year, the first Navi video cards also use it. According to AMD, the architecture is highly scalable and suitable for all kinds of applications.
