Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip6 smartphone may have a larger battery than the current Galaxy Z Flip5. Sources report this to GalaxyClub. The advertised battery capacity would be 4000mAh, good for an increase of about eight percent.

According to Galaxy Club Samsung is currently testing new batteries for the Galaxy Z Flip6. Just like the previous generations, the device has two batteries. One would have a rated capacity of 1079mAh, while the second would have an advertised capacity of 2790mAh. This amounts to a total battery capacity of 3887mAh. Samsung would advertise that as a 4000mAh battery.

The current Galaxy Z Flip5 has two batteries, which have a total capacity of 3591mAh. Samsung markets this battery with an advertised capacity of 3700mAh. This makes the alleged new battery approximately eight percent larger than that of the previous Flip smartphone. The foldable would be comparable to the Galaxy S24. That smartphone has a 3880mAh battery, which is also advertised as 4000mAh.

Rumors have previously circulated about the Galaxy Z Flip6. The device may get a better camera, among other things. The device is expected to be released in the summer of this year. The past few Galaxy Z Flip devices were released in August.
