Rumor: EA is working on a reboot of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

According to the website, publisher EA is working on a new Knights of the Old Republic game. It is not clear what kind of game that will be. According to one of Cinelinx’s sources, this is a reboot, but the other is talking about a successor to the classic RPG. The game would be “a project that integrates elements of the first two games.” That way, “certain things would fit into the current Star Wars canon.”
