A render has appeared of what would be the first smartphone from the Finnish manufacturer HMD Global under its own name. Until now, all smartphones were released under the Nokia brand name.

It concerns the N159V and appears to be a budget smartphone, reports 91Mobiles. This can be deduced, among other things, from the presence of two camera lenses on the back. Except for iPhone models, only the cheapest smartphones have fewer than three cameras on the back.

The HMD logo can also be seen on the back. The type number corresponds to that of a device that was previously rumored. HMD usually announces its phones at the mobile trade fair Mobile World Congress. The fair will take place in just over a month in the Spanish city of Barcelona. HMD announced in September that it would release smartphones under its own name.
