‘Redmi K70 Ultra gets Dimensity 9300 and OLED screen up to 5000cd/m²’

The Redmi K70 Ultra will reportedly have an OLED screen with a peak brightness of 5000cd/m². The smartphone is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor. No official release date for the Ultra has been announced yet.

The as yet unannounced device according to Digital Chat Station a screen with a resolution of 1264×2800 pixels and a ‘peak brightness that starts with a 5’. According to Notebookcheck, the leaker refers to a screen that matches that of the Honor Magic6. The regular brightness of the screen of that device is 1600cd/m².

Furthermore, the Digital Chat Station reports that the smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 9300. The regular K70 variants that were previously released in China have a Dimensity 8300 on board, while the Pro variant has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The Ultra will reportedly launch with up to 24GB of Lpddr5t memory and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, similar to the top-end K60 Ultra configuration.

The leaker writes that despite these specifications, the Ultra is positioned in the midrange segment. For now, there is no indication of when the Redmi K70 Ultra would be released. Parent company Xiaomi previously launched the K70E, K70 and K70 Pro in its home country of China. Redmi devices are often later released in Europe under a different name. This has not yet happened with the previous models from the K70 series.
