Photos and a video of a new prototype of the Tesla Cybertruck have emerged. The manufacturer announced the car in 2019, but it is still unclear when the pickup truck will be released. The new version shows some changes.

The footage, published by Cybertruck Owners Club, shows a version that appears slightly shorter at the front than the variant that was on the podium when it was announced in 2019. In addition, the door handles are completely missing. Instead, users can open the door with an app or tag to be placed on a sensor.

Tesla presented the Cybertruck in November 2019. The design of the current stainless steel prototype does not differ greatly from the type shown then. The truck should have been released at the end of 2021, but it didn’t. Since then, the Cybertruck’s production date disappeared from the manufacturer’s website.

Tesla is releasing single-engine, rear-wheel-drive versions, and two- and three-motor, four-wheel-drive versions. The cheapest version should cost from $40,000, the most expensive version will be on sale from $70,000. Tesla has not yet made an official announcement about a possible delay in production of the Cybertruck. The automaker will present quarterly figures on Wednesday and may also share more information about the production of the Cybertruck.
