Nvidia’s chipset codenamed C51 gets a suffix. The C51, with an integrated GPU, will henceforth be known as C51PV, with the last letters standing for Pure Video, a name change to indicate that the chipset will support HD video. The chipset will have a core that is comparable to nVidia’s 6200 TC. The C51PV should relieve the CPU when displaying High Definition footage. The first chipsets are expected to hit the market in late September or early October. Motherboard manufacturer FIC already showed prototypes of motherboards with these chipsets at CeBIT in Hanover in March.
