Niantic has announced a number of bonuses for players who play Pokémon Go every day. Users who play the game every day for a week will receive an additional bonus. The update will be available ‘soon’, the developer says.

Every time a user catches a pokémon and has done so the day before, they will receive an additional bonus of 500 XP and 600 Stardust in Pokémon Go. If he or she continues this for seven days in a row, the player will receive an additional bonus of 2000 XP and 2400 Stardust.

Players also receive bonuses for visiting pokéstops every day. Visiting a stop daily gives the user 500 XP and more items. After doing this for a week, the player gains 2000 XP and a larger amount of additional items.

Niantic states that when a user has collected a daily bonus, the player can earn bonuses again the next day from midnight in their own time zone.
