Logitech comes with a wireless variant of its G502 Hero mouse for gamers. The G502 Lightspeed has the same 16,000 dpi sensor as the wired variant and can handle the Powerplay mat for wireless charging.

According to Logitech, the new G502 Lightspeed is seven grams lighter than the existing G502 Hero, thanks to its very thin-walled design. The wireless mouse for gamers has eleven programmable buttons that can be set with the included Logitech G HUB software.

The sensor of the G502 Lightspeed is the same as that of the wired G502 Hero that Logitech released last year. That mouse was the successor to the original G502, which appeared on the market in 2014. That copy had a 12,000 dpi sensor, the new versions have a 16,000 dpi sensor.

Users can adjust the weight and balance of the G502 themselves with six weights that can be placed on the bottom of the mouse. The wireless mouse can work with the Powerplay mouse pad for wireless charging, but it must be purchased separately. Charging can also be done via the USB connection on the mouse.

From the end of May, the G502 Lightspeed will be in the shops for a suggested retail price of 150 euros. The wired version came out at the end of last year for a suggested retail price of 90 euros, but is now available in the Pricewatch from 60 euros.
