Intel announces two new Arc Alchemist GPUs, the Arc Pro A60 and Pro A60M. The regular Pro A60 is intended for workstations and will be available from distributors in the coming weeks. The mobile Pro A60M will be available in OEM systems in the coming months.

Intel writes in a blog post that both new graphics cards have doubled their specifications in various areas compared to existing Arc Pro GPUs. For example, the graphics cards support sixteen PCIe lanes, a memory bandwidth of 384GB/s and contain 256 Xe Matrix Extension engines and sixteen ray tracing units. Both cards support high dynamic range and Dolby Vision.

The main difference between the Arc Pro A60 desktop variant and the mobile Pro A60M is the memory. The first-mentioned GPU has 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit memory bus. The mobile variant has 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a narrower 128-bit memory bus. Intel also states that the Arc Pro A60 has a TBP of 130W; the A60M operates at a TBP of 95W.

With these specifications, Intel places the new A60 series below, for example, the A770 desktop GPU, which has twice as many Xe cores and a TBP of 225W. Intel has not yet announced the prices of the new workstation cards.
