How to securely delete sensitive documents and files on your MAC

When Mac users delete a file from their MAC, the file is moved to waste folder, which does not mean that the file will be moved to a separate folder and no memory will be freed up. You can directly restore those files to the previous location.

If you Empty the trash then the file is deleted from the system folder but actually that is not actually deleted because they are in the virtual memory space from which that file can actually be recovered. And this file only exists for a short time until a new file appears to overwrite it. But this has the advantage that accidentally deleted files can be recovered. #2 Safely remove the entire drive

The other way is to safely remove any drive and all its contents and this can be done easily with the Mac OS Disk Utility feature by following the steps below:

• Right-click on the disk that you want to delete.
• Click on secure options and then move the slider to the rightmost to get the most secure erase process.
