Google has completed the application store for the Google Glass glasses with a series of new applications. Users of the smart glasses can download the music recognition application Shazam and fitness software Runtastic, among others.

This concerns a total of twelve new applications, the internet giant announced via its own social network Google+. For Glass users, Shazam and MusiXmatch will become available, among others, apps that can recognize songs. In addition, fitness app Runtastic has been added and a number of games have been made available. With the Livestream application, users can set up a video stream via Glass, which can be shared on social networking sites, among other things. The new applications can be downloaded from the MyGlass store.

Developers can create applications for Google Glass via the SDK that the internet giant made available some time ago. Many popular apps, such as for Facebook and Twitter, have already been made suitable. The NOS recently announced an app for Glass that can be used to listen to radio news.

Earlier this week, Google began selling its smart glasses in the UK. The company is asking for an amount of 1000 pounds, converted about 1250 euros. However, Google Glass is not widely available yet; Google hopes that developers in particular will buy glasses to encourage building applications.
