Google has enabled a feature to share passwords with family members in Chrome Canary 121, a test version of the browser.

The whole interface of the sharing feature seems ready, reports Android Police. The recipient will not be notified if a password has been shared and cannot see whether it is their own password or a shared password. It is unclear whether that will happen.

Password sharing is only possible with members of your own family. This must be indicated in the Google account. The function is not automatically enabled in the test version, but users must activate it via a flag which can only be found in Chrome Canary 121.
