Microsoft comes with a Windows app for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Windows and web browsers. The app provides access to Windows cloud PCs. The Windows application is only available to business users for the time being.

Microsoft announced its Windows app during its Ignite 2023 event. For the time being, this is a Preview app, which will become widely available later. The application provides users with access to Windows PCs in the cloud. The app can connect to Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Dev Box PCs. Users can also use their own Remote PC and Remote Desktop Services systems via the macOS and iOS versions.

The Windows app consists of a home screen showing various available cloud PCs and services. The app also has a feature to switch Microsoft accounts. The service supports multiple monitors, custom screen resolutions, display scaling and device redirection for webcams, audio and storage devices and printers, among others.

The application is available for Windows, iOS, iPadOS and macOS and web browsers. Windows users can download the app via the Microsoft Store. TestFlight versions are available for iOS, iPadOS and macOS, writes Microsoft.

The Windows app is also currently only available for business users. It is not known whether the app will also be available to consumers later. During the Activision Blizzard lawsuit between Microsoft and the FTC, it emerged that Microsoft has the ambition to turn Windows into a complete cloud service, also for consumers.
