Adobe is working on a way to separate voices and background noise in Audition and Premiere Pro, among others.

Adobe has shown off the feature as a preview at its Max event in Japan as a ‘sneak showcase’, where the company shows what it is working on. The AI technology allows customers to, among other things, separate multiple voices into different tracks and separate voices and background sounds. This is useful, among other things, when editing video. Adobe does not say when this will come into the regular versions of its programs. This often happens several months to years after the presentation of a technology.
