Gigabyte comes with a mini-itx version of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 970. The manufacturer provides the compact card with a single cooler, but still increases the clock speed compared to the reference model from Nvidia.

The GV-N970IXOC-4GD, which Tom’s hardware reports on, has a clock speed of 1076MHz, which is slightly more than the 1051MHz of the standard GTX 970. The Boost is also slightly higher at 1216MHz than the reference Boost of 1178MHz. The cooling consists of a cooling block with aluminum fins, two 8mm heatpipes, a 5mm heatpipe and a single fan. The design appears to be a single-fan version of Gigabytes WindForce cooling and makes the card a dual-slot model.

There are also three display ports, hdmi, dvi-i and dvi-d, and the card partly obtains its energy via an 8-pin PCI-e connection. Gigabyte will start with the delivery of the mini-itx card at the beginning of November and the American suggested retail price will then be USD 330, converted almost EUR 260.
