Garmin has made an Esports edition of its Instinct watch, aimed at e-athletes who want to show their heart rate in a stream in real time. The watch works in tandem with a desktop tool to do that.

The Esports Edition is similar to the previously released Instinct models in design, hardware and features, except it adds the streaming feature. That works with a PC tool called STR3AMUP, Garmin reports. That tool requires Windows 10, 1GB of ram and 100MB of free disk space. Also, the PC must have Bluetooth LE support on board. The streaming tool must also be able to display the window.

In addition to heart rate, the tool also reports the user’s estimated stress level using various indicators and Body Battery status, a way to measure how energized a person’s body appears.

The PC tool is an addition to the Esports Edition at no extra cost; the suggested retail price, at three hundred euros, is the same as that of the other Instinct watches, which have already been released.
