Firmware Update: MSI MS-6529 – 845 Pro

On the site of MSIA a new BIOS can be found for the 845 Pro motherboard. This BIOS is only for the 845 Pro (Socket 423) and not for the 845 Pro2 (Socket 478). So be careful. The bug fixes are quite important, which you can read in the release notes:

Update Description

• Correct CPU FSB & ratio table
• Modify Power LED status
• Add RPM detection for LOW speed FAN
• Fixed system can’t POWER OFF when ATI AGP card installed or when no AGP card present.
