Firestorm Battle Royale Mode Coming March 25 for Battlefield V

Battlefield V’s battle royale mode launches on March 25. This is evident from a cinematic trailer that the developer of the game has posted online. In the mode, players compete against each other in solo, duo, and foursome on a shrinking map.

The trailer does not show in-game footage. It does, however, give a brief look at how the game mode works. Players land by parachute in a war zone surrounded by a ring of fire. That’s where the mode’s name comes from, Firestorm. That ring causes the playing area to get smaller and smaller, but players don’t die immediately when they get out of the zone. Like PUBG, for example, it seems that players are just losing health and need to get back into the playing area as quickly as possible.

Players land without equipment and must find their weapons on the map. In the area, the buildings can be destroyed and with a flare players can request a hail of artillery shells. As far as vehicles are concerned, the trailer shows, among other things, a tractor and a single-person helicopter that group members can hang from. That tractor comes with a trailer with an anti-tank truck attached to it. An amphibious army vehicle and tank can also be seen in the images.

This is a cinematic trailer, so it may be that certain elements will not be in the game. However, many elements correspond to a previously leaked video. The battle royale mode will be released on March 25 with the Trial By Fire update, according to the official trailer.
