Feral Interactive is going to make a Tropico game for the iPad. It is a game based on the Tropico games from developer Kalypso Media. The iOS version is specially designed for use on Apple’s tablet.

Feral Interactive is showing a short teaser of the game and announcing that the game will be awarded one prize, with no further in-app purchases. It is not yet known how expensive Tropico will be for the iPad. According to the makers, the controls of the game are optimized for the touchscreen of the iPad; in terms of gameplay and features, the game should be comparable to the PC and console versions.

The mobile version that Feral Interactive makes only works on iPads and not on iPhones. The developer does not talk about an Android version at all and it is unlikely that there will be. By only developing for the iPad, Feral can use the hardware optimally. It is not yet known on which versions of the iPad the game will work.

Feral Interactive released an iOS version of GRID Autosport late last year. That game only worked on recent versions of iPhones and iPads, with powerful hardware.
