Fall Guys has sold 7 million times on Steam and is the most downloaded PS Plus game

Battleroyale party game Fall Guys has sold seven million times on Steam. Developer Mediatonic’s game is also doing well on PlayStation consoles, according to Sony it is the most downloaded game ever on the PlayStation Plus subscription.

Sony doesn’t mention download numbers, but many PlayStation Plus subscribers have downloaded the game because according to the console builder never before has a game been downloaded so often via the subscription. In May, Sony’s paid multiplayer service had 41.5 million subscribers. Fall Guys is one of the games available for free to PS Plus subscribers during the month of August.

Publisher Devolver Digital announces that the Steam version has now been sold seven million times. A week after its release, the game had sold two million times on Valve’s platform. The game ranks fourth among the most played titles on Steam.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a battleroyal party game that pits up to 60 players against each other. They take on the role of colorful dolls and have to complete a course with obstacles in a knockout race. The game is comparable to TV shows like Wipeout and the Japanese Takeshi’s Castle.
